PF Changs Ladies

We're headed for our Valentine's dinner (a day late) on monday to PF Changs. You nesties have me so excited. So ladies, what's good to order?

*let's keep it moderately healthy- bathing suit in 36 days. I already figured I'd be eating half/taking half home b.c I heard the portions are huge.

Re: PF Changs Ladies

  • Chicken Lettuce Wraps! Yum! I also like Orange Peel Chicken.

  • So I was on their website looking at nutritional info and I was so impressed. Until I noticed this little # next to calories (2...3...4...) that's the number of servings PER entree. So the chicken I thought looked good at 280 cals is actually almost 1,000 on the plate.

I'm all for a good deal but why in the world should ONE person get FOUR servings? Super misleading.

  • The Double Pan Fried Noodles are really yummy, too.  We're going there with my playgroup for one last Mommies Night Out before I leave. I can't wait!
  • I love the chicken fried rice.  It is my favorite from any chinese restaurant.  I've also had mongolian beef, chicken with black beans, sweet and sour chicken, chicken lo mein, potstickers.  Everything has been delicious.  For the fried rice I like the potsticker sauce instead of soy sauce.  I think that is why it's my favorite.  The great wall of chocolate is the best chocolate cake.  It has fresh berries and raspberry sauce drizzled on it.  I really need to go back there.
  • Technically, their portions are "family size"...but actually, not so much. DH ordered the shrimp the other day and there were maybe 8 or so in there.

I love the green bean appetizer, the sweet and sour chicken and the lettuce wraps.

  • Definitely do the Chicken lettuce wraps and i am a huge fan of mongolian beef.

justin and i might do a valentine's lunch there on monday too, but we'll be in the one in Annapolis :)

  • Lettuce Wraps for sure...although I know for sure I didn't have chicken (as I'm a veggie) so I think I had vegetarian ones. You're going to LOVE it! DH and I have been dying to go since it came to Buf!
