Pampers Cruisers were Discontinued?

Am I the last one to know this??

I should've figured out something was wrong a few weeks ago when the shelves at RiteAid were empty, but I thought they were having a MegaSale or something.

I always use Cruisers!  I don't know what I'll do!  I know they're coming out with a new version in a month ... But I don't know what to do till then. Scour the earth to find more Cruisers size 3?  And what if I don't like the new ones as much?

What disposable diapers do you use with your LO?

Re: Pampers Cruisers were Discontinued?

  • I use Pampers Baby Dry (size 3).  I actually tried Crusiers serveral times but the overwhelming smell of chlorine really turned me off to them.  It was so overwhelming to me when I was pg the smell of a CLEAN Pampers Cruiser diaper would make me gag and that's when I switched to the Baby Dry.  There is still a chlorine smell but it's not nearly as strong.

Dd sleeps through the night wearing Pampers Baby Dry and we've never had a leak.

Are you sure they discontinued them?  I order diapers at diapers.com and I still see the Cruisers advertised on their site. There is a whole bunch of complaints about them changing the design but they sound just like the ones I was using so I'm not sure when this change happened.

  • We use Pampers Cruisers.  I didn't know they were discontinued.  I just got a big shipment from diapers.com last week!

  • The chick at the drugstore told me, and then I looked on Amazon when I got home and that's how I got confirmation. I tried the BabyDry before, but it didn't seem to hold as much as the Cruisers ... and there didn't seem to be the same kind of "give".  Cruisers seemed really elasticky on the closing tabs.
  • Oh, I think I get it now ... They must've changed the design ... and that's why the "old" ones were discontinued.

I looked on Diapers.com and it looks like everyone hates the new ones . . . Uh-oh ...

  • They sure advertise them on TLC a lot. We are just moving up to size 3s and use Cruisers during the day and BabyDry at night.

  • I noticed that our Sam's Club stopped selling them (which sucks!), but I've been able to find them elsewhere without a problem.  I haven't noticed any difference -- I wonder when the new design will take effect?  Or if it already has?

  • They've just been redesigned, not discontinued. Actually the "new" ones have been on some store shelves for months. Maybe Rite Aid stopped carrying them? Cruisers are definatly NOT discontinued. Check out Pampers.com for more info on the new ones. Geez I sound like a comercial
  • tpo - I was googling this like I was writing a research paper on it!  I finally realized what was going on!  Thanks!  LOL

I have no issues! I like them just as much, and the new ones are everywhere around here
