I recently had to switch my laundry detergent and fabric softener because the kind I've used for years is no long in existance. I got a detergent that has no scents and is for sensitive skin since pre-pg I already am sensitive. I just got the normal Sunggle fabric softener. Now I'm noticing these teeny little bumps all over my arms and legs, and a bit on my chest and back...basically where my clothes fit the most. Anyone else ever had a reaction like this pre-pregnancy or during pregnancy? Any suggestions for a good hypo-allergenic fabric softener? I had to take a benadryl this morning to keep from scratching my skin off! Just a bit miserable and hoping for some good advice
TIA!
Re: Fabric softener issue?
we use downy. They make one without any scent adn it's hypoallergenic.

Oooo thanks! And I appreciate the pic of the bottle, haha. That aisle is SO overwhelming. It took me literally 15 minutes down there last time to choose my items.
I would just skip the softener, but Houston has hard water and if you don't use something after awhile things start to get rough. I used to use a water softener but can't seem to find that anymore.
you can also just use cheap white vinegar. We buy it by the gallon. We have SUPER hard water. It's super hard even after the water softener. And vinegar works great too. Hypoallergenic and it leaves no scent. I use it in my whites to help keep them whiter but i also use it in DH's outdoor clothes to help get rid of the smells.
How much do you use per load?
