advice for cramps and bloat?

aside from gatorade, what's a good remedy for post ER bloat and crampiness?

  • Salty foods and make sure you empty you bladder ofter, even if you don't think you need to go. 

    You can use a heating pad and take Tylenol .

    I also get up an move around if I start to really hurt, that helps too.

    If you've not have a bowel movement, you can use glycerin suppositories, that will help too.

  • mine got better by about day 4 only thing i found was just taking the pain reliever they gave me and the gatorade

    1 chemical and 1 loss at 9 weeks prior to DS
    IVF #1 1/10-transfered 2 blasts- DS born 10/2010

    Trying for # 2 since 2012.  2 failed FETS 1 failed IUI.
    IUI#2 4/14/14-- BFP !!!!! Beta #1 14dpiui= 45 Beta #2 16dpiui= 80  Beta #3 18dpiui= 88 (chemical pregnancy)

    1/25/16- BFP  Beta1 12dpo = 17, Beta 2 14 dpo = 28.. resulted in one beautiful boy born 9/21/16 :)

    Now I'm a stay at home loving life and pursuing my love of photography!!!
  • Hey hon... post ER you can use a heating pad.  I hope that helps.

  • I second the heating pad!  It made a huge difference with my cramps :)

  • Tylenol, heating pad, hot shower, and today I'm trying acupuncture and more abdominal massage to draw out the excess fluid.
    Beautiful Miracle Baby lost at 21 weeks due to pre-term labor and incompetent cervix. FET#1 BFN, FET#2 BFP, early loss. FET#3 BFN. IVF#2 BFFN.
