so much for Savannah this weekend.

We were supposed to leave really early this AM for a weekend in Savannah, but apparently the road conditions are awful in ATL.

There are over 200 roads closed and dozens of accidents.

Bummer.

    Yea we left last night during the snowstorm to spend the weekend in Birmingham.  A trip that should have taken 2 hours was doubled.  Now we are just hoping we can get back into Atlanta tomorrow.

    I wish we had left last night.

    When we made our plans back in December, we figured we would leave today to miss Friday rush hour.

    Oh well.  I think we'll go next weekend instead if the hotel has available rooms.

    Dh really wanted to take me scuba diving on my birthday so as luck would have it, it snows. 

    So since the hotel was booked, diving reserved and dogs boarded before all the snow started, we decided even if we can't dive we will just have a relaxing weekend away. 

    But the quarry is open so our dumbasses are going diving. Indifferent The water temp won't be bad.  It will just be staying warm between dives.  We're crazy I know.

    My dumb ass went out with DH this morning because he had to see a couple of patients. Seeing the town covered in snow is crazy. We may hit the beach after this and see if there is still snow on the gound there.
