I don't care about the rap. It's a huge part of the music world today. It only makes sense that that genre would be included. What made me laugh is that they included Autotune in Lil Wayne's part.

I thought it was great, a whole new generation of singers and audience.
I was 8 when the first one came out so this is refreshing, even if they do include old classic singers like Streisand. THe point is they are making a difference and like one of the lyrics was "they need our help", thats what its all about.
I actually really liked it, I just thought that the Michael and Janet Jackson duet was strange. You could not hear her at all, and it looked like she was superimposed over him... they could have done a better job with that.
I actually liked it, especially the rap element. That gave it its "newness". However, having Vince Vaughn in it confused me a bit and did Miley Cryrus really need her own solo part? just saying....

Ha! You should have heard me last night, I was appalled!! DH was like, calm down. It's not his real voice!! Rap is totally fine, but that seemed ridiculous to me. /vent
ETA: it was obviously for a good cause, but I have never heard an ensemble song that sounded good. Even the original. Suck.
Re: NBR: How do you feel about the new "We Are the World"?
Not pissed at adding another element such as rap. I am pissed that it actually wasn't good.
Hilarity.
The Vince Vaughn element, in particular.
Zach Rance 4 President
Justin Beiber. *snort* I could hardly listen to the rest of it I was laughing so hard they opened w/ Justin Beiber. Hahahahahaha.
