Pregnant after a Loss

Stupid spotting again!

At some point I will lose my mind from stressing out over spotting! Went to the bathroom, had to strain a tiny bit for a BM and looked down to find blood in the toilet. Of course I freaked out, called DH and met him at home.

5 hours later and it's not pink anymore, a little brown discharge. I'm keeping my feet up and drinking as much water as I can handle, and if I make it to Monday without another episode I'm calling the doctor's office to demand that they see me for an ultrasound.

As always, if you have a moment send some T&P my way if you can, and pray with me that at some point this stops coming back!

  • T&Ps coming your way! Take it easy this weekend!
  • I've had two of those spotting incidents myself--exactly how you described, both while straining a little--so I know how scary it is. Thinking of you!

  • T&P to you! Relax and keep off your feet!
  • This is what I experienced throughout my last pregnancy...I blew it off...not sure if it contributed to my loss or not, but I do hope you talk to your Dr about looking for bleeding around the placenta. My Dr with this pregnancy said that I might have had some bleeding around the placenta, and bacteria love it..which may have caused an infection..and then my loss.

I don't want to freak you out, but urge you to have it checked.

    Best of luck!

Thanks for the warning. I did had the u/s tech check for bleeding each time she does an u/s, and each time she said she saw no bleeding. I will definitely be calling on Monday to be seen, hopefully they'll have some space and will let me come in. I'll mention again about the bleeding and ask that they check.
