anyone else experience a change in their skin?? ive always had sensitive skin, im a redhead, ive had hives here and there, and i have allergies but ever since baby ive had such dry, itchy, incredibly sensitive skin.  i get hives a lot more often, and i feel like im developing skin dermagraphism like my husband has....anyone else having issues??? im gonna call my doc soon if it doesnt go away after winter. i wondered if the winter weather made things worse and having the heat on all the time.

    All your water intake goes to your milk :) I drink over 100 oz of water a day and hardly ever pee. That's why. My skin is also ridiculously dry.

    that makes sense i probably dont drink enough water. but would it cause the hives and other reactions? or could that be hormonal? i know i should ask a doc these types of questions but maybe you ladies know

    Yep, I always have super dry skin in the winter anyway, but it's definitely worse this year than ever before (my skin and my scalp).  I keep thinking it might also have something to do with either my hormones in general, or from the bf-ing (I've never been so thirsty in my life, and it takes a lot of water to make milk)

    Mine has been pretty bad and I'm not even Bfing.  Last night I went to Walgreens and got a new cleanser and moisturizer. It's called CereVe and so far it's great!!! I haven't been able to really wash my face since DS was born because I would get so dry. The cleanser with the moisturizer cream didn't dry me out at all.
