How are you going to tell DH?

I decided today how I am going to tell DH when I get a BFP...

I got little 0-3 mos T-shirts and put "Baby (Our last name)" on the front with green fuzzy iron-on letters. I also picked up a "I Love Daddy" bib at the store today to give to him when it's time. The little t-shirt is sooo cute! It's weird to see the word baby next to our last name. I tucked them away in my closet for when I finally get that BFP!

Just had to share with someone since I can't tell him and I'm bad at keeping secrets! I know someone posted this similar question before, but how do you plan on telling DH?

Haven't thought about telling DH in a special way. I'll probably just say it. I have been thinking about how to tell family though.

OP, I think that's cute. I'm boring and I think I'll just tell him, or take the test with him. DH is very into facts and I'm sure will only want to see that positive test.

I know I want to do something special...I just don't want to tell him. But to be honset I haven't thought that much about it yet....maybe someone will post some good ideas that they've either done or are thinking about doing.

I had my BFPB paint a frame (she has a small business) that's painted in the theme of his favorite university athletics team. (UT Volunteers) It says "Daddy's Little Volunteer" on it. So cheesy, but when we came up with the idea, I couldn't resist. It's hidden in my closet.

So do tell. Are the masks in your wedding pic a 'swine flu' joke or did you really wear them for your wedding?

I didn't do anything cute for DD except yell at DH "look at this!" (while he was in the shower). I don't plan to do anything besides show him a positive HPT.

OP, that's really cute. I've thought of a few things, but am too afraid I'll jinx myself somehow if I buy anything. So I'll probably just end up telling him "i'm pregnant."

That's a really cute idea! If DH is home I'll probably just tell him, but he's requested that if he's not home I take a pic of the BFP and text it to him with the letters "BFP". LOL...kindda funny that he knows the lingo now.

The masks are a swine flu joke! You can't really see it in the pic, but they say "Bride" and "Groom." We took the pic after the wedding. Thought we could make light of the situation since we were in Mexico right when Swine Flu broke out and everyone was canceling their trips. Worked out for us since we were the only wedding that week!

Our dog has a thing for chewing on our dirty socks (don't know how she always finds them, but she does), so I'm going to give her a pair of baby socks to chew on (when DH isn't looking) and then tell DH to take away "whatever Roxy's chewing on". Of course, he'll probably just give me crap for buying baby stuff...so in the end it will probably be "I'm pregnant, dummy".

I'm using the dog to tell my parents too (they LOVE their granddog). I'm teaching her to jump up and put her front paws on my belly when I ask "where's the baby?". It's fantastic!

Don't ask me why I've thought of all these things...I apparently have too much time on my hands.

Oh, another thought was to play that song from Glee when Finn tells Quinns parents that "she's carrying my baby"...might use that one for my brothers...make DH play it for them...

i didn't do anything exciting when i got my BFP with ds. dh knew i was testing with FMU, so when it happened i just woke him up and told him.

Our neighbor is going to tell her parents by putting a "big brother" bandanna on her dog. I thought that was a neat idea.

I want DH to be a part of the whole process. I will POAS first thing in the morning when he gets up to shower for work. We will check out the results together.

He was annoyed with me because I wanted to take yet another pregnancy test. So...I peed on the digital stick & took it to him. I laid it on the bed(completely thinking it would be negative) & went in the other room to watch TV. 3 minutes later I hear "Hey baby!"

My DH and I have JUST recently talked about this. He was very specific that he wants to be there when I test to see the line at the same time as I do.

I figured I'd tell him in a cute way, but that works too. :-)

I will just tell him. I did, however, purchase a bib that says, "I love Daddy." I will give it to him after my first good ultrasound or after I hear the heartbeat.

The hubby gets up way before me in the morning & always gets on the computer after he wakes up. When I got PG last year, I took a pic of the + test & set the pic as the wallpaper on our computer. When he logged on the next morning, the first thing he saw was the BFP
