like babypowder you mean? if that's what you mean then no, I don't use anything on DS. my dr said nothing is necessary unless he's got a diaper rash or something.

Baby powder should never be used - the talc can be easily inhaled and cause respiratory problems. Cornstarch powder can be used instead, but I've never encountered a situation where it seemed necessary, personally.
I got like 5 things of baby powder at my baby showers - I was kind of surprised, because really, who ever uses THAT much of it, if at all?? I'll have to find some creative use for it, because I don't think I'll be using it on my baby!
I do- DS had a icky rash from some of the wipes we had. (We threw them out)
I love the fresh-baby smell, but I generally pour it on my hand and pat it on him instead of dumping it on his wee butt. I don't like the idea of him breathing it in, and it never gets in the crevices by his legs if you do that. He seems to really like it. He fusses if I have to put buttpaste on him.

A lot of guys will use it to prevent sweating and chafing "down there" when exercising. (The guys in my family say it's great. LOL)

I was thinking the same thing, hehe.

Ditto. Our pedi actually told us NOT to use it.
Talc-based powder is bad anyway. So I bought some expensive Burt's Bees Talc-free stuff. Used it once or twice.
When he pees, it turns the powder into dough! HA!
