OMG ladies the funniest thing just happened at work.

On Monday a local TV craw are doing a documentary and our company is featuring in it.

I sent an email to the entire company outline the process and the timeline etc.  I got some pretty funny replies form our maintenance man wanting to know if he should get highlights and fake tan to our lead scientist telling me he was going to do burnouts in the car park.

THEN one of the guys in accounts hit 'reply to all' by accident and sent a mail to the entire company that simply said...

I?m going to streak.

I called him immediately and told him what he had done and he almost died.  One of the directors replied with...

As long as you raise money for the *company name* HAITI fund in the process this is acceptable.

The MD followed that up with...

In fact we may pay *employee name* not to do this, if we can?t raise ?200 in an attempt to stop him then he will have to do it.

Thank god they took it so well, I bet he wants the ground to open up!

    This is awesome. At least your company sends out funny replies.. I work with a bunch of stuff engineers, and I can just imagine the hostile replies to come! It must be so nice to work with fun people, I envy you! lol

    Chrissy I did not anticipate them taking it so lightly.  This email went out to about 100 people.  I wonder if he will get reprimanded by the Finance MD.  I work for an international company in the European HQ and I certainly would not describe them as 'fun people'

    That's hysterical.  I work at a bank now, and I know it wouldn't have been taken so lightly.  There would have been a company-wide email sent reminding us of the dress code or something.

    Haha, I work for the county government. This probably would have been their response too!
