Child Safety Seat Inspections

Does anybody know where I can go to get my car seat checked? Is this a required thing? Or will somebody at the hospital be able to do it before baby comes home? Thanks for your help!

    Hi- You can go to the local state police barracks for help. I made an appt with the one in Lima (this is likely a hike for you but you can look online). You can call and make an appt with the Trooper who is trained to do it.

    I'm in West Chester so where I went is probably too far but I just googled it and my county had a list - a sheriff ended up doing it at a car dealership and we had to make an appointment about 2 months ahead of time.  They didn't check it at the hospital at all.
