What do you do when people touch (or try to touch) your baby's face and hands? The receptionist at my midwife's office reached out and grabbed my baby's hands today, and then my baby stuck her fingers straight in her mouth. Ugh!
What do you do/say when people touch your baby? (If you'd rather they not...)
Re: People touching baby's face and hands...
Ah, great idea! People definitely go for the hands more often than the face.

You'd think someone at the midwife's office would know better.
I have no problem asking people not to touch him, I apparently grew some balls when I had him cause if it's in his best interest I have no problem telling people what's up.
I ordered one of these and put it on my carseat

Works like a charm, you can't miss the sign, and I don't have to say a word...people are always asking me where I got it from.
At this point, when I take LO out, he is still covered in a blanket (it is FREEZING here). So, people have to ask for me to uncover him. I haven't had anyone try to touch him yet.
I have a sign that hangs on her carseat and we haven't had a single stranger touch her yet! It's been a few times that people have stretched their arms out to her and see the sign and then don't touch her. It is so nice to have that sign so that it says it and I don't have to!

She recommended mittens/shirts that cover the hands.
This. ?BTW, your siggy pic is adorable. ?I can't tell if your LO is being sweet or plotting something. ?I love it! ?
