Re: Developmental Checklist - 8-12 months
The next group is 12-24 months, so I'm guessing they're looking for kids to be doing it by the 12th month?
If you want the whole document, I can email it to you - just PM me.
This seems like an odd list, since crawling is not a developmental milestone from what my ped says. Children do not have to crawl to walk.
Where is this list from?
I was sent it from my pedi, but here is the citing on the document:
Adapted by First Look and The Early Childhood Direction Center from: Shelov, S. P., & Hannemann, R. E. (1994). The
American Academy of Pediatrics: Caring for Your Baby and Young Child Birth to Age 5: The Complete and Authoritative Guide.
New York: Bantam Doubleday Dell Pub.
YGPM
Can you send me the whole thing too?
W (02/2009), N (08/2012), and C (04/2014)
I think I'll print this for my pedi - she will get a kick out of it after rolling her eyes - especially at the red flag section. lol
