Hey guys, I thought I'd let ya know how I spent the money donated to help Maggie and Chris.
--Preemie/NICU baby book (I purchased this before Aidan died and spoke with Maggie about it)
--16 Disposable cameras (these were also purchased before Aidan passed, but instead of them going to waste I'm going to give them to Maggie and she wants to donate them to the NICU in Aidan's memory)--These were originally purchased to keep at Aidan's bedside in the hospital so the staff could take pictures of Aidan if something "cute" happened while Maggie & Chris weren't there.
--I just ordered a beautiful plant from 1800 Flowers to send to Maggie and Chris's house so they can keep it in Aidan's memory.
--$50 donation to MOD.
I want to thank EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU for your thoughts, prayers, donations, and shoulders (you know, for crying) this past two weeks. It's been amazing to see such wonderful people come together to support someone they've never even met--although I know a lot of you do know Maggie. I know Maggie and Chris appreciate this more than you could ever imagine.

I'm really sorry a lot of us never saw your posts about money collection. Were they on this board? Did I miss them somehow?

The IN girls also did/are doing a collection and have a mama necklace being sent her way as well as a donation for March of Dimes.
Yeah, I posted it here several times--but it's okay :-)
I know Maggie will LOVE the necklace but the MOD donation will really touch her heart in a special way.

OMG, I feel so dumb. I didn't realize you had started collecting money like immediately after he was born. I had been looking through the posts from just the last couple of days and saw nothing from you other than prayer requests/updates.
I just now saw your post with the info for donations!
I just hope I didn't step on your toes. I didn't know you had already asked the Indiana girls for help...had I known, I wouldn't have duplicated the efforts! Sorry about that!

The point is Maggie is loved...money to MOD is donated...and she's going to have some wonderful mementos to remember Aidan by.
