Honestly sounds worse than it was. I really didn't "hit and run"

And sometimes I still text and drive. Embarrassed

Side swiped a parked car with a U-Haul truck. Luckily the car I hit already had plenty of scratches so I didn't leave a note or anything.

I also used to play "bumper cars" while parallel parking in the city. I would just tap the car in front of me but totally got called out on it once.

I stormed out of my boyfriend (now husband's) house because I was angry at him and trying to prove a point.

I ran over a stack of newspapers (that were tied up and ready for recycling) with my low to the ground car... my car was literally stuck on top of the newspapers and my FIL (I was 17 at the time) had ot come out and help me.

So embarassing, and totally ruined my dramatic exit.

When I was 16, I rear-ended another car after school. He was pushed into another car. There were like 10 high school kids in the 3 cars. Thank God no one was hurt. We all had to wait in the grass for the cops to come. When they showed up, they asked what happened. Everyone pointed at me. Embarrassing.

I was babysitting 3 kids last summer. We were driving to the pool, and the 9 year old witnessed a kid get hit by a car (I was watching traffic to make my turn). She screamed and we were the 1st car on the scene. I had to help the kid and call 911. The driver of the car said she was texting. She never even went to help the kid. Ever since that, I don't text and drive. It was heartbreaking seeing that kid laying in the street.

My friend and I backed into eachother in the parking lot in high school Embarrassed

We were parked opposite each other and were gabbing away. We got into our cars and both backed out at the same time. No damage, just stupidity. I also got in a fender-bender on Lakeshore Dr. last summer. Some jackazz didn't know how to exit (stay the eff out of Chicago if you can't drive in traffic at a high speed). The idiot drove off, but I got his license plate #. Win.

Also, kind of funny now but not a real offense. I was trying to get out of our driveway one wintery morning. We live in the middle of a huge hill in town. I got stuck half way in half way out of the driveway. DH and his uncle who lives next door were yelling at me to turn my wheel. I couldn't understand them and opened my door getting out. I just happened to shut the door, locking my keys in the still running car. At this time a school bus decides to come up the hill. It cannot get around me and ends up getting stuck as well halfway up the hill. Police arrive. Along with firetrucks and ambulances because apparently someone called 911 in the neighborhood. 35 minutes later, I am pushed out and the bus gets pulled out. Rough morning at our household though.

I backed my parents' van into the fire hydrant in front of their house 2 months after I got my permit. It was night and my brother was with me. He got out to check and said I just hit the trash cans, so he got back in the car and we drove off. My dad took the van to work the next day and noticed a dent/red paint all over one side, thought it had been a hit and run and filed a police report. I finally had to come clean when I realize what had happened, and I've never been able to live it down since. The bad thing is that the hydrant is at least 3 yards away from the driveway, and there really is no reason for why I hit it, except to chalk it up to the fact that I was a brand new driver in a hugeass conversion van.

I've backed into a parked car. Twice. Once was in a parking lot and they had their tailgate down. I didn't notice and thought I had a couple more feet and hit the corner of the tailgate.

The other time I was backing out of my driveway and forgot DH was parked behind me. Oops.

I backed into my DH's boss in our driveway one morning last year when I was pg. It was early in the morning and the windows were fogged up. DH's boss had just pulled in behind me to pick him up for work. I put the car in reverse and heard a horn blowing and felt this big THUMP. Luckily he was driving one of those big work vans so it didn't really do any damage Embarrassed

2 speeding tickets in 3 mos, both 12 mph over. I was pg for both the 2nd 1 you could really tell i was pg. (who gives a pg lady a ticket really?)

I was trying to get a car wash at a gas station, but it wasn't taking my code. So, I freaked out and tried to back out of the curvy drive since I couldn't go through the wash, and I ended up pushing the gas instead of break. I went up over the curb and ran into the huge wood fence that surrounded the dumpsters. I again freaked out, and hightailed it out of there (after I got unstuck from the curb). Oh yeah, it wasn't even my car...it was my SILs. I felt really bad and kept thinking the police were going to come find me!
