he's getting his MBA and b/c of the pregnancy and m/c he's behind on his schoolwork so for the last 4 days he's been holed up in his man cave studying his butt off for his first exam which is on Sunday (he's doing an online MBA). I haven't talked to him in days. He literally studies from the time he gets home until 1 a.m. every night.
I'm so proud of him, but I'm LONELY.
Re: I miss my husband

he's actually in school year round! It's the way the e-MBA works. He takes one class at a time and each class runs for between 4 and 8 weeks. Some classes run right into one another (i.e. one ends on Sunday, the next starts on Monday) and some there is a week off in between. His next time "off" is at the end of March and then not another break until July
I'm excited for him though. This is going to make such a huge difference in his career.

Oy vey! That is a tough. When is your DH done with his program? I feel pretty lucky that at least my DH's school schedule is traditional so he had summers off.
My DH is getting his masters in social work. He works with disabled adults but wants to move over to the VA and work with vets with PTSD.

wow, that is really admirable!
H just started in January, this is his second class. We're spreading his two year program over three years (his company pays for some of the tuition so by doing this we are less OOP). Based on the course distribution I'm hoping he'll have two 4 week breaks as a result of the classes he's "skipping" this year, but we haven't heard back from his advisor yet.
I hear you. I really miss my husband, but for entirely different reasons.
When we had a more normal life in Chicago, I rarely saw him during the week because he worked law associate hours, rarely coming home before 10 pm.
How about scheduling a date night, or make a special dinner where you focus on each other, even if he goes back to studying afterwards.
He sounds very diligent and goal oriented and this will all pay off one day.
