  We're not even going to start thinking about it until 12 weeks.  And it might take me longer than that to be ready

  We finally made the transition and boy we are all so much happier!!!!!  We wanted to do it sooner but knew our DD was not ready...we started with naps and made the transition to nights when she was doing well with naps in her nursery...I say go for it!!!!  You will love being able to go to sleep without worrying about waking your LO!

  We started putting DD in her crib at night right at 4 weeks old, and she's been there ever since.  It's been wonderful.

  I'm not ready yet for her to be in her crib overnight, but DH is home with her 3 days a week and he's started putting her in her crib for naps.

  We did 4 days after she came home. We only waited that long to move her because we didn't have a monitor at the time. Your lo will be fine, I promise.

  We've been delaying it, too. The nursery is on the opposite side of the house from ours, so I've been waiting until his middle of the night feeds decrease. He's down to one, but sometimes two wake-ups.

  He may outgrow the PNP bassinet before then, though! That 15 lb weight limit is sneaking up on us.
