Feeding problem?

I'm concerned that my LO is not eating enough. At first he would do 15 minutes on one side and about 10-12 on the other. Today when I feed him, he will eat good on one side for 15 and then the other side maybe 6 or 7 minutes. We try everything to keep him up to eat. We change his diaper in between, take some of his clothes off, etc. But he just seems to sleep. Is this normal? Anyone else going through this?

    This happens to me a few times during the day/night. I try to wake him up w/ burping & if needed changing his diaper. Also while he's on the 2nd breast, I try rubbing his head, back or feet to try & wake him up again. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes he's so tired, he only will do one breast. It's probably normal though. My mom said that I shouldn't worry. He does make up for it about twice a day with feeding from 1/2 hr to an hour on each breast.

    I went through that with LO the first two weeks. I found stretching her feedings to every 2 hours helped get a better, fuller feeding. Also I would sometimes use a wet wash cloth on her feet if taking her down to a diaper did work. Good luck with it, and I promise it does go away so try and sleep when LO sleeps as much as you can!
