I have this desire to be the perfect housewife - a perfectly clean house, look fantastic, cook and bake fabulous food every day, take care of the kids, hold fabulous dinner parties, have friends who look up to my homemaking skillz, knit stuff that everyone loves, etc. I of course do not have the time to accomplish all of that, but I do wish I could.

I too would love this. But I also want the stellar and satisfying work outside the home job, thus meaning I would need at least 36 hours in a day :-/

Well, you're ahead of me. I have a desire to wear yoga pants & a tank, have a reasonably but tidy living area (bedrooms are off limits for judging!) and make dinners that at least DH or DD does not say, "I don't like!" to. I set my standards loooooow. lol

Me too, but minus the kids so far. Plus I want to completely do well in my environmental science studies. Would 36 hours be enough??!?! Smile

Ditto... but I don't know anyone who actually has time for that who isn't a millionaire and can farm out some jobs to other people (ie: someone who cleans their house for them, someone who arranges flowers for them, someone who shops for them)....

I would be a very bad housewife. I hate cleaning, and I rarely cook.
