What play activities to do with LO?

First time mom, Patrick is only 12 days old.  But should I be doing tummy time, other activities (not sure what to do with one so little!) to stimulate him?

TIA for any ideas or input!

    Talk to him, cuddle him. Sing songs, tell stories. Dance as your listening to music, but most of all allow him to sleep if he is tired. Tummytime - I was told by my nurses to have him rest on my chest for a minute or two each awake time, but the floor mat can wait until he has better head control.
    A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
    After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
    My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

    We sing, read, do tummytime, and use the bouncy seat. You can also check out this site for other ideas. They'll send you daily email with a new activity, which is really helpful.

    Thank you missy for posting this site, I have been at a loss for new ideas for James since he wants to be engaged but doesn't really do much, I appreciate the help!!
