Searing pain while peeing?

I had to pee after lunch today and as soon as I started peeing, I got a horrible pain in my belly... it was SOOOOOO painful!  It went away almost immediately after I finished peeing and I haven't felt any pain since, no spotting,  bleeding, etc. My guess is that my  bladder was really full and when I emptied it it caused my uterus to fill in the empty space, and I was probably just feeling RLP.  But I honestly thought I was going to die from the pain.  Has anyone else experienced this?

    I've had that...but not that bad.  I'd probably have the doc check for a UTI just to be safe.

    This happens to me a lot, too. I also have another friend who is pregnant and she says the same thing happens to her. Kinda strange!

    That has happened to me when I get up at night to go, it's almost like my bladder is so full that once I empty it something has to fill in the space like you said.

    This happens to me every single time I pee. I have now learned to lean back when I pee and that helps. I asked my doctor about it and she said it sounds like it's my ute going back in place? She advised not to worry about it.
