I posted on here a few months ago, and occasionally on BOTB since then, but mostly decided to lurk and learn a bit before deciding to start posting.
I went off BC at the beginning of December because I wanted to start practicing charting, and also because my doc wants us to be off BC for a few cycles to get it out of my system. I had been on Yaz and apparently it screws up post BC cycles more than other brands...(!?)
Charting for me has been a mess. That first cycle, I got mono, and just gave up on charting halfway through due to the fever I had for 3 weeks. This cycle I have gotten my first job as a nurse (yay!), but it's working night shift 3 days a week. I am sure the differing waking times is throwing off my temps. But I am still trying nonetheless, and hoping for that temp shift.
All the info I've read on this board has been so helpful, and I'm looking forward to chatting with you.

I'm a night nurse too, 7p-7a, and have been charting since Apr 09. I've had good luck even though my temp times can range from noon to 4pm. Even with all the craziness, I still get a good biphasic pattern every month. I wish you the best!

I also work 7p-7a as a nurse 3 nights a week. I just temp whenever I wake up. FF says my temps are irregular, but I do the best I can. There isnt really a perfect way to temp on this shift, other than staying up til 9 am every stinkin day! I also check CM and CP just to help the cause. I did OPKs last month, didnt buy any for this month but will start those up again next cycle probably too. I figure the more info the better since my temps are screwy!
Congrats on the job, welcome and good luck!
