Ok, I have several ramdom things to tell/ask you, ha ha.

I remembered you saying that Ellie would spell her name E-l-i-e, so I thought you could appreciate that Adah spells hers either A-d-h or A-d-h-a.  It seems like her and Ellie and are learning a lot of the same things.  She is currently very into shapes, she even draws a decent circle.  Does Ellie say her abc's?  Adah goes a-e, then skips to like p-z.  I figure that's a good start for now, she does t-z perfectly every time.  

I ended up getting her feet measured last week at the stride rite outlet and she has been wearing shoes a size too small (oops, bad mommy), which has prompted me to buy a whole bunch of new shoes.  I did get those green ones from babygap and they actually fit so I guess her foot is narrowing out at least a little!

Did your birthday get any better?  I'm going a little stir crazy (Adah too!) with all the snow, I would hate to be stuck indoors on my birthday.  I hope it didn't end up to badly.  

Let's try and get the girls together sometime.  Do you have a pass to the Children's museum or aquarium?

    Yep, now Ellie spells her name with both L's, or one depending on her mood. She is also way into shapes, and she sings her ABC's, but she's very confused about the whole ABC song. She sings them pretty well, leaving out a few letters here and there, but then she launches into Twinkle Twinkle. Then rather than finishing the last verse of Twinkle Twinkle, she goes back to her ABC's. It's like the song that never ends. But I guess the fact that they have the same tune confuses her and she thinks they're one song. Does Adah have Fridge Phonics? Ellie has started saying a bunch of the letter sounds because she's learning them from that toy. It amazes me the things they pick up on, since it's not like we're sitting her with flashcards trying to teach her what the letters say.

    What are Adah's green shoes for? I'm glad they fit, they are so stinking cute!

    My birthday was OK. DH surprised me with Michael Buble tickets, so that part was awesome. And he ventured out to get LaRosa's for dinner. Unfortunately my cold got worse and today I have no voice. I wish the roads were clear. We'd be at my parents' so I could get a little break this evening.

    We do not have aquarium or museum passes. Can you believe we've never taken Ellie to either place? We should definitely try to get together, though, as soon as I kick this stupid cold!

    Oh, and no, we got Ellie a full-sized mattress and box spring, then she started sleeping well again. So we haven't switched her yet. They're actually standing up in her room (really lovely). We need to do it soon, though. Hopefully tomorrow I'll feel like getting up off the couch.
