He got his shots this morning at his 2 mo appt and has been inconsolable while he is awake, but won't go back to sleep. Poor baby, my heart is breaking.
A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

I'm sorry your LO is so upset. I gave Lucy tylenol before her shots today and now she's passed out in her crib. I couldn't stand hearing her cry like she did when she got them. so sad
I didn't want to give LO Tylenol before his shots in case he didn't need it. He got his shots at 1:00pm and by 7:00pm nothing could make him stop crying, he wouldn't even eat (which is not like him at all!). I gave him one dose of Tylenol, fed him, he went to sleep and never acted like anything was wrong after that.
DD was the same, but once we gave the tylenol she fussed for a little bit more and then slept and was fine the next day. Her shots were late in the afternoon and i highly recommend that!

Exact same thing happened for us
Us too. That was the first night she STTN. Scared us both to death.
My DS was this way! He cried for 45 minutes straight! We gave him Tylenol and it wasn't as bad but he was still very fussy for the next 3 hours! Me and my DH switched off on holding him! Hang in there! The next couple days he was fine but just very quiet!
I'm scared now! We are in the waiting room right now, waiting for his 2 month appt. He's been inconsolable all day already-- I'm afraid these shots are going to make it worse!
