Difference?

OK, maybe I"m really dumb, but what's the difference between co-sleeping and bed sharing?

Re: Difference?

  • Rooming in the same room is considered co-sleeping. Bed sharing is, well, bed sharing.

  • I think co-sleeping is the bassinet or co-sleeper right next to the bed...as opposed to baby IN bed with mom and dad.

    I think.

  • Co-sleeping is sleeping in the same room. Bed-sharing is sleeping in the same bed.

    I never knew this! I am a co-sleeper, LOL!

  • Good to know.  Everyone I've talked to who sleeps in the same bed with their kids calls it co-sleeping.  I never heard hte term bed sharing till recently on here.

Huh?  I thought they were the same...I didn't realize co-sleeping could be rooming in like PP said?
