Anyway .. I want to post again to say that I do like the cat .. he just frustrates me sometimes. DH and I are going to have a talk about what to do as far as keeping B safe .. other than that the cat can claw anything he wants.
Anywho .. I have since let the cat sit in my lap and I rubbed him while B napped. I felt bad for writing such heinous words about him. He found out I talked about him behind his back and he was upset so I gave him treats and love to make things right.
I am P&R now .. carry on.
Re: So I started the day off on my broomstick, huh?
One of my cats has an anal leakage problem. No lie. He isn't my favorite pet.
I thought witches liked cats?
I'm still on my broomstick. So I will say this: who.gives.a.flying.fvck. what you do with your cat? Pepole get their lives way too tied up in other people's pets. I'm a big fan of declawing. I'd rather have my cat declawed then hate my cat for scratching me or risking have DS scratched. I swear, people forget that humans > animals. And my happienss and the saftey of my child will always trump any animal I bring into my home. That does NOT mean I don't love my animals or take excellent care of them. What it does mean, is that sometimes, I have to make unpopular decisions w/regard to their care in the best interests of my family. Period.
Declaw your cat and carry on.
I think ... I think I love you ..
LOL Thank you for not being on The 'witch hunt'
LOL You're welcome. I think I should steal your siggy pic. haha
You're an idiot.
Andfuckyoutoo.
ETA: And what about my opinion makes me an idiot? The fact that I chose the safety and well-being of my family over that of an animal? Or the fact that I don't care what you think?
FTR: I've spent, literally, ten thousand dollars on various surgeries and treatments on my cats to keep them alive and healthy. So I'm not some callus pet owner. My son is just more important to me. I'm having a hard time seeing how that makes me an idiot. So yeah, bite me.
We can share!!
Yeah for kitty getting some quality lap time. And I'm glad to hear he is not so evil.
In all seriousness, I'm no cat whisperer but if you have any questions about any behaviorial issues, feel free to ask. We adopt exclusively from shelters and adopt older cats so we've had to deal with various cat behaviors ranging from one cat being aggresive to another to a cat peeing and pooing on the floor. I feel bad enough that I can't give our cats the attention we used to but we're finding ways to make this new life work.
I have actually been amazingly surprised at how much the cats have adapted to DS. They stay away from him for the most part but there are times when I'm nursing DS and our one kitty wants some lap time. It's so adorable to have her try to make room on "mama's lap" for her too.
Has he been eating those chips with Olestra? Poor kitty.
