I just googled a recipe for lactation cookies, and it calls for Brewers Yeast. Is that something that I could find at a natural food store?
I was thinking of making some in the coming weeks, and obviously won't need them for a little while after that. Is is okay to freeze the cookies?
Re: Lactation Cookies Question...
Whole Foods has it. I've seen it at our local one, anyway.
I don't know about freezing. I don't see why not: the brewer's east is the key ingredient for lactation, but it's dead by the time you finish baking, so freezing I don't think would hurt the potency any further.

I make them ALL THE TIME. A few hints. I more than double the flax and brewers yeast.
And I buy both at Nob Hill

Here's mine: https://gnluv.wordpress.com/2009/02/08/yum-cookies/
I added nuts & choc. chips.
Sometimes, I made brownie mix and then dumped the cookie dough in the middle too. Ugh, it tasted goooooood!
