I know this is strange and I even feel somewhat weird talking about it. After hearing you ladies talking about genetics and chromosonal testing I am wondering if this could have caused my m/c or I should have had extra testing done? Anywyas, my dh was born with 12 fingers. No joke. Not only that, but his son also was born that way. Apparently his brother and father were too. They were removed at birth and now there is just Small scar next to their pinky fingers. Should this be a concern?Sorry if I sound crazy.

I agree while extra digits and also webbed fingers and toes are genetic they are not fatal chromosonal defects.
Check and find out.
My DH & his sister both have some genetic hearing loss. This would only be associated w/ possible hearing loss (if I had the same gene issue) and not any fetal abnormalities. That is what our genetic counselor said, so I don't know if your issue is the same.. but not all genetic (inherited) things cause miscarriages. Some are just passed down for their own sake, like being able to roll your tounge or earlobes attached to your head...just a physical appearance and not anything really "wrong"! I have two little extra bones in my ankles and knees, my children might get this as well.
Extra digits are more common than we know, because people have them removed these days.
