Gold mesh coffee filters

So at work I bought gold mesh re-usable coffee filters for work. I'm the one that makes the coffee (ugh, don't get me started on this) so I figured I'd substitute something "green" for the regular filters we were using. It takes a little longer to dump/wash out the grounds, but I think it's worth it.

Just in case anyone was wondering about them.

This is what we use at home, too. I actually think it's less messy -- with paper filters, I had several incidents of the paper ripping on the short trip to the garbage can and grounds flying everywhere.

I don't think I've ever seen them available if not with the coffee pot... where did you find yours? We are getting close to running out of filters so this might be a good alternative for us.

we have one. i like it better than paper. they sell them at the grocery store here.

We use mesh. It was DH's idea because he didn't want to spend money on the paper ones. We go through a lot of coffee so it just made sense to not have to buy filters every other week.
