Sleep sheep or baby crack machine?

DS has been fighting naps for a week now, and it's getting really frustrating. I'm thinking I need to give a white noise machine a try.

So, sleep sheep or baby crack machine? Pros/cons of either?

I have never tried the baby crack machine, but we have the sleep sheep and it is AMAZING. DD loves the ocean and rain sounds!

I say neither but then again we never used them with either LO's. Con's IMO - how will LO eventually learn to sleep without white noise?

I have the sleep sheep and it works great, but only last 45 mins and sleeps better when there is white noise all night. So i ordered the crack machine today! We've been using a radio on static at night for the white noise! HTH!

My LO loves his sleep sheep, but also tends to easily stir once the 45 min is up. That's my only pet peeve about it.

I have both, and the Sleep Sheep is in a box in the closet, there's no comparison. The Sleep Sheep is cute but it's not loud enough to really work as white noise.

My baby sleeps all the time without qhite noise...during the day, for naps, etc. At this age babies can't soothe themselves, they need outside stimulation. Babies wake up several times a night, and when mine does, the white noise soothes her back to sleep so that I don't have to wake up and go do it. When she gets older she will be able to soothe herself, and we will wean her off it. It's no different than a pacifier or sucking their thumb or even you picking them up when they cry.

I love our sleep sheep. It is very portable. We even use it sometimes in his car seat!!
