Anyone here have a Ikea crib?

Does it use a regular crib mattress or do you have to buy one from Ikea?

    Mine used a regluar mattress but I bought the crib over 9 years ago so I'm not sure if the newer ones do too.  I bet you can check the measurements on the website.

    I'm pretty sure it fits a regular mattress, but we did buy our mattress from Ikea, too.

    Totally happy with it. It broke down to a toddler bed and it still looks brand new.

    The measurements are 27 1/2 x 52

    Would babies r us or target list wha the measurments are of their mattress online?

    Are the pretty firm mattresses?  My sister is looking at getting her crib there but said the mattresses look to soft.  I have never seen the mattresses so I cant help her either way.
