how I love my Grandma=)

I just called her today and she is making dinner for her two neighbors (fried chicken, collard greens and cornbread..yummy!!!) She was really thankful for their help with their electricity outage and wanted to do something nice. The guy said that he really liked my Grandma's cornbread, so she started that and decided to make a full on meal.

How typical is it that Grandmas always go above and beyond!

sorry I am sure my Grandma would have a plate for you, too=P And, I forgot, she is making okra, too! My Grandma only cooks like this for special occasions. So, I am totally missing out today!

Oh, I know. I was so close to my grandparents; they were like parents to me. Saw them nearly every day of my life until I went off to college. You just never think they will be gone one day.
