Does you LO love the TV remote?

Mine is obsessed with it.  Today at target I found this:

its the sesame street silly sounds remote and I think he just found a new love...this may be the best $10.00 I've spent.

    DS looves our real remotes but couldnt care less about this elmo one. i ended up going to target and buying a universal remote and i let him play with it.

    Yes Yes Yes!! He's obsessed with it and will now point it at the TV. We've gotten smart and switched it to CABLE setting when he gets ahold of it (we don't have cable) so he doesn't change anything but every once and a while he finds the VCR remote that has the channel changer on it and changes it with that. I may have to get this one for him....hmmm

    Oh cool!!  I just usually turn the batteries backwards and give him the 'mote....

    Love? Try obsessed with the remote!! I'll have to look for that remote at Target. She doesn't like toy remotes, it's like she knows the difference

    My little girl loves and yes is very obsessed with the TV Remotes.  We got her the Elmo remote and she's just not into it as much as the real remotes.

    Neither the Elmo remote or the non-functioning remotes entice her. It has to be the one that actually operates our TV/VCR/DVD player. I have NO idea how she knows b/c some of them don't have any lights.

    LOVES it.  I've tried giving him one that doesn't work, but he won't have it. He knows that if I'm allowing him to slobber all over it, it must not be the real thing!

    We have that elmo remote and she enjoys it... She is interested in the ral remote but we never let her have it... luckily her attention span is zero so we can easily distract her with something else.

    yes, and I though my LO was the only one!!  he also loves cell phones...

    He loves the dvd remote, but has no interest in his toy remote.  Just like he loves my cell phone, but not his toy phone he got for christmas.  He knows the difference.

    haha!! this toy talks, and makes sounds and he loves that about it.  I tried giving him our upstairs remote without the batteries and he got mad because it didn't light up

    She's obsessed with our remotes. I just gave her an old one without the batteries... I don't know if she'd be fooled with a toy one; she got a toy cell phone from my aunt for Christmas, but still only wants the real ones.

    This was DD's Christmas gift from us!  She loves that thing, but she still really like the real remotes too!

    OMG I have to get this. Just this weekend she has become obsessed with it! When DH holds it up she starts CRACKING up. Then of course she wants to put it in her mouth. I have to get one of these!!

    I completely believe they know the difference!!!  I love this remote though, I saw it before but I wasn't sure if my LO would let it slide..I think once he sees us with the other remote he'll be going for it again!  But it's cute anyway and can stay on the table to be a deterent maybe!!
