My parents met in school. Well, my mom and my dad met in school and he passed away when they were 22/23 but my mom also knew my step dad from school and reconnected with him years later. Funny enough, he and my dad also have the same first name! lol

mom & step dad met through a coworker of my mom's.

coworker happened to be stepdad's wife - they were mid-divorce. she also lived with us for a while after the divorce. she finally told my mom to go out with him LOL

My Dad was helping my mom's parents, some sort of manual labor or something... she was 15/16, he was 19ish... they started dating, she got knocked up, they got married a couple months into the pg, been together 31 yrs now.

In grad school at Emory University. The funny story about my parents is that my father showed up to his wedding in a police car, which is true. He decided to walk, but it was New Years eve and a cop thought that a man walking in a tux at 7:00 at night in the part of town he was going through looked suspicious, so he stopped to question him, then drove him to the church.

They went to different high schools, but went to the "all city after graduation party" and met there. Corresponded through college and saw eachother during the summers. The rest is history.

At an Alan Jackson concert- she asked to get on his shoulders so she could see. (totally trashed by the way) He took her on a date to a football game after that and she dumped her beer on a guy below them that was dissing her team, after that he knew she was the one. haha. Theyve recently divorced, but started dating eachother again. drama filled, totally disfunctional, but they are so much fun.

Well my mom/biofather met in college.

My mom and the man I consider my dad met when she was a BABY. LOL. My mom's 2nd husband/my adoptive father was good friends w/ my mom's oldest brother. Anyway, they knew each other for a long time.

They got together after my mom's divorce when we moved back to her hometown. He was doing an addition on my grandparents' business and my mom worked there. They started dating, and then got married. Now they've been together for 20 years!

Similar to Ami- they met at a friends house when my mom was 14. She got pregnant when she was 16. They got married a few months later and have been together for 37 years!

Blind date. My mom only went because he had a sports car! They met in November and married in May. They divorced after 18 years.

DH and I met during my freshman year of high school (he was a senior -- quite the scandal We dated for 8 years and we've been married 8.5 years.

My mom was a majorette/baton twirler in the high school color guard. After a football game she was getting a ride home with a friend. Her friend had the same car as my dad. Mom accidentally got into Dad's car, baton and all, the rest is history! She was 15 he was 18.

They met in high school, although they went to different high schools. My Aunt was very social and wanted to go to prom, but my grandma said she couldn't go unless my mom was going (they are twins). My Aunt had her then bf set my mom up with my dad. She was 15, he was 16. They were married shortly after my mom graduated HS and have been for 35 years.

My parents met at a department store they both worked at. She was working in the bedding dept. and he was a stock boy. His pick up line was asking her if she was interested in some sheets marked down to 99 cents.

That was in April and they were married in November and have been since - going on 33 years. My mom said that they just decided to get married and she's still waiting for her proposal.

They met in Daytona Beach when Mom was 14, Dad was 17. Oddly enough, my sister met BIL in Daytona Beach on the exact same day, 25 years later. BIL and Dad were both from the same small town.

Mom worked for the school's paper and dad was the star quarterback. She interviewed him after a big win and they hit it off immediately.

They were married 40 years until her death last year.

At a halloween party. Mom was dressed as a pig and my Dad was dressed as a sailor (he had to wear his uniform as he was in the Navy). Six months later they were married. They were married for 52 years before my Dad died a few years ago.

Interestingly enough, my DH and I met at a halloween party too.

At work. My Mom was an administrative assistant that worked with the petty cash and would give out change if anyone needed it for the vending machine. My Dad was always needing change. ;-) Another coworker, his name just happen to be Jimmy Stewart, actually introduced the two of them and the rest is history. They've been together 40 years.
