Best birthday present. ever.

I may have mentioned/vented once or twice on this board that DH never lets me sleep in. On the weekends, he'll sleep 'til 10/10:30 both days. It bugs me and I've told him many times. But he always says that his job is so physically demanding (it is, I'll give him that) and that he's a 'programmed nightowl'. I was having a bad day last weekend and he asked if he could help me with anything and I said "how about giving me a break" (with a few choice words added in).

Well, Saturday night he gave me the BEST present - A contract that states that from now until March 28, he will wake up BEFORE or at least WITH me every weekend morning. After March 28 and going forward forever, he'll take one morning for me to sleep in. I realize this is something that a lot of husbands already do, but this is new for us and I'm am SUPER DUPER excited!!

Oh, and he also got me a pressure-excellerated marinator (which, too, is pretty cool)

That is great. My DH was like that for a long time, never woke up with the girls and I finally had it out with him and for the last few months we have been taking turns on both the weekends and weekdays and it totally rocks.
