Everything is very dramatic this morning (according to Baby C)

Sigh.  Baby C has been very dramatic this morning.  When DH left for work, he cried.  When I wouldn't let him pull my hair or take off my glasses, he cried.  When he knocked his stacking rings over, he cried.  When I wouldn't let him push the dining room chairs around the dining room, he cried.  When I wouldn't let him climb out of my arms so he could leap for the spice rack on the wall, he cried.  I am pretty sure another tooth is coming in (hence the drama), and I really do feel for him.  It can't be fun to be in pain and then have someone rain on all your fun.  But, I am very glad he is taking a nap now, and I hope that Grumpy McGrumperson is gone when he wakes up.

Just had to share with other mommies who would understand!

  • aw, poor little guy. :(  I hope he feels better soon!
  • Poor guy!  I bet he'll be better after a nap!
  • So sorry you are dealing with that. I have been dealing with that for the past couple of weeks. It is definitely no fun! My DS is down for a nap too and I am so happy!
  • I feel your pain.  I actually took Kate to the dr yesterday because I was sure that something must be wrong considering how fussy she was all weekend.  Uh, yeah.  Apparently she's just teething.  Hope Baby C is happier after his nap!

  • I totally understand!  I have had almost three straight weeks of this between DS cutting his top molars, then an ear infection last week, and I think he is starting to get cut his bottom molars!  The whole fussy period gets even better when he is a young toddler (DS is 16 months) and they decide to express their frustration by hitting everything!  I can't tell you how many times I had to put DS in timeout this week.  Luckily MIL and FIL took him for a night this weekend, which really gave DH and I a break :)

I feel for you though!  When DS was around 7 months old, he would cry whenever I walked away.  I've heard it called the "baby-taxi service" where all they want to be carried and with their parents all.the.time!  It can be exhausting :)  Hope he is better after his nap this morning.
