Do you put a onesie underneath everything?

Just wondering.  We put LO in the footed sleepers only, but I'm thinking maybe I should put a onesie underneath and he'd be warmer.

  • Yep but more in case he has a blowout so I don't have to change the whole outfit.

  • LO has a onsie on at all times.  Even though we keep the temp at 72 degrees, I don't want her to be cold.

  • Yep, I use it as an undershirt.

  • I was for awhile, until I realized that I was overheating him. My kid is a little hot box. I can't even put him in fleece anymore.

  • I guess I'm the exception here, but no. If she's in a footed sleeper, that's usually it. I do keep her wrapped in a blanket when she's sleeping, though.

    This!!!

  • Only if he's wearing a regular shirt and pants, because the shirt rides up. Other than that, he's a very warm kid.

  • No and actually I never knew people did this!  Ryleigh is like a little heater and can only wear fleece on the coldest of days without getting too hot.  Plus that creates even more laundry IMO!
  • Yup, always has a onesie on!
  • only if the outfit is a shirt/pants combo without a onesie.  he gets hot fast and putting on a onesie under pjs or onesies would piss him off.
