We are going on vacation to South Florida next week. Has anyone taken their LO to the beach yet? How did you dress them? What should I bring? Did they eat all the sand? ;-) Any tips for baby's first beach trip would be helpful! Thanks
We just got back from Hawaii a couple weeks ago. We dressed DD in a hat, short sleeved shirt (made from bathing suit material) and an iPlay bathing suit bottom. We also brought a cabana (link below) to keep her in the shade and off the sand (she wasn't a fan of the sand).
I tried to let the waves lap up on her but she HATED the ocean so I either put her in the cabana with some toys or brought an inflatable pool and sat her in that in the cabana.
We took DD to the beach back in October. She loved it! We set up an umbrella and set her Bumbo seat underneath it. She loved the sand and the water. The Bumbo was great, because she was able to reach the sand and the water, but couldn't crawl away. The sand rinsed right off of it. Have fun!
