NTR: Spa resorts on the east coast?

Can anyone recommend one? My closest friend is going through a terrible time and I'm trying to plan a vaca for us.

  • There's the Hershey Hotel and Spa.  Not much to do in the area other than Hershey Park.  BUUUUUUT, the hotel and spa are fabulous!  And who could resist all the chocolate they put out?
  • I love the Hershey Hotel! I want to try the lodge next time.

There is also the Greenbriar. OMG awesomeness!!

  • Thank you so much ladies - I'm looking them all up!
  • Mirbeau Spa in Skaneatles, NY is incredible. Not only is Skaneatles gorgeous, but the resort and spa are gorgeous too. There is a year round outdoor enormous hot tub with a swim up bar (and fireplace for the winter). I love this place so so so much.

I didn't even think of Mirbeau, great idea! It is SO close to us.

  • I also like the Spa at DelMonte in Rochester.  A girlfriend and I got spa treatments and stayed overnight there and it was wonderful.
  • Canyon Ranch, MA--very pricey!

    Topnotch, Stowe, VT

    Stoweflake, Stowe, VT

Old Saybrook Inn and Spa, CT

There are nice spas at the casinos in CT--great spas!!

    Norwich Inn --pricey though!
