Poll: Are leather seats a "must" with kids?

Re: Poll: Are leather seats a "must" with kids?

  • We have leather in our cars and it's great being able to just wipe the milk stains off.  I have one child who used to throw up quite a bit, so leather came in handy during that time.  I've never had a problem with the leather getting messed up.

  • I have cloth in my car and don't have any issues.  I also do not give DS any food or drinks in the car.

  • I'm probably strange, but I don't actually LIKE leather seats. I hate how hot they feel in the summer and how cold they feel in the winter.

I have cloth seats and haven't had any problems or stains. And I do give DD drinks and snacks in the car. All of her in-car vomiting episodes have been contained in her carseat so far.

  • Every time Marisa has thrown up in the car, it's gotten on the seats (yay for projectile vomit!).  Leather is a must for us.
  • Leather a must? Absolutely not, but I love mine. We've had some spills but if you don't allow food/drinks in the car, cloth is great and way more economic.
