So I had blocked her and all was well. Then the day I had my DS her boyfriend(who we were not aware had a Facebook) messaged my SO saying our child was ugly. My SO defended us by pointing out how pathetic he was that he had to bash a baby to make himself feel better. Then this idiot threatened him. He stopped the convo and then I emailed her telling her to leave us alone, do not contact either of us or we will file harrassment charges.

No responce! WOO! I was happy a week goes by and I get to bring DS home. We are here on our first night just putting some things away when there is a knock at the door, I am the one standing so I answer it. Seeing as it is dark out I can't tell whom it is. In the process of opening the door my springer tries to get out so I grab her and when I have a firm hold on her I look up and it is...THE CRAZY EX GIRLFRIEND!!! She tries to walk in. I slam the door almost clipping her leg. I tell her she needs to leave or I will call the police. I repeat that about 4 times getting louder each time until she doesn't leave. I turn to grab my phone and I call the police as she leaves.

I filed a report that night and they told her that she needs to stop. I guess she wanted to apologize for the messages...HA! FAT CHANCE!!!!

As much as I would love to file a restraining order I cannot afford the $320 filing fee. Hopefully this will solve our issues. If not I will need to come up with the money,

Hoping when you ladies have your LO and bring them home your first night is not this eventful.

Ummmmm, that's nuts. I would at least file a police report for harrassment if you can.

What a psycho! I am sure money is tight but this lady sounds like a total loony and I would find the $320 to file the order. I am not about over reacting but the safety of your child and yourself is worth the $320. If she has gone as far as to show up at your house and try to enter without permission then you really cannot trust that she wont try to come back again. If you have an order in place and she comes back or contacts you again then you know she will be arrested and charged.

Go to the police and file a no contact report. They're free. From everything I have heard, it cost the person you file the restraining order against...not you.

Sounds like what we're expecting from DH's exwife. I'd find out what you can do at no cost to keep her away.

You can fill out a fee waiver for the $320 filing fee but unless she has threatened you or is contacting you a whole heck of a lot I doubt you'll get it. You can certainly get an RO against the bf if he threatened you though. I would do it to show them that you are not messing around. That's super scary!

Nate's ex is crazy too. I am pretty sure she wouldnt pull a stunt like this though because she doesn't know where I live.

If she used profanity or threatned you in any way you can put a warrant out for her arrest. That's harassment and harassment is illegal. Sorry you're going through this. NOT FUN!!!

wow. I despise crazy people like this! Do they have absolutely no lives? You should definitely keep copies of all of the contact you have had with her and her BF including e mails and police reports.

I would definitely check into a no-contact order, or contact the police and see what other options you have. They are definitely harassing you... I can't believe he would insult your baby!!
