Recc your Diaper...May be too much TMI :)

My LO is in the Pampers/Swaddlers for NB and his poop tend to run out of the side no matter how often I change or how little he makes.   Can you recc your diaper that does not have this problem? He is 4 1/2 weeks.  TIA!

  • We use Pampers Swaddlers too and have only had one blow-out of the side in 6 weeks.  Make sure the leg ruffles are untucked all around the thighs and that should help.

  • Could he need to go to the next size?  Do you flip out the leg openings to make sure they are against his legs (if that make sense)?
  • I think it all depends on how the diaper fits your LO. I have issues with Huggies, but hear so many people rave about them. I think it is all trial and error to find out what works for your LO.

  • How big is he? You may need to go to size 1. That being said, we used disposables for the first 2 weeks and I liked the huggies better.

  • We started putting our DS in size 1 when he was 4 weeks. I would go to size 1.
  • My DS started having issues with blow outs when he was ready to go up to next size.  Since we have been in 1's he has been fine.
  • Size 1s start at about 8 pounds, I think. He should be ready for them!
  • Thank you for your recc and advice!
