Re: Gap Clearance Center

  • Where is this located? I have wanted to go look and see if they have maternity clothes.

Sorry I have never been there!

  • I don't know about infant stuff but DRockH, that is were I bought pretty much my entire maternity wardrobe.  They used to have all kinds of stuff!  It's off of 275 an exit or 2 past the airport in Hebron, KY

  • OO I am so excited! What type of discounts are there?
  • I haven't really found a lot for DD there.  It seems that her size is always picked over or they don't have much or the price isn't that great ($4.99 for a onesie isn't that cheap if you ask me, especially when you can find them on sale at the regular Gap for that.)  I do think it is hit or miss and I haven't been in a while so maybe you'll get lucky.  I did find her Halloween outfit there, the top was $6 and the bottom was 99 cents.

However, if I'm shopping for myself, I always seem to find plenty!!

  • I don't really think it's the place to go for infants clothing.   All the onesies are $4.99, sweaters $6.99, etc...   A lot of times I just feel like there is nothing there that is special enough for the cost...like I could find better stuff on clearance at a regular Gap or Old Navy.  I have found some great dresses and stuff in the toddler section, but you really never know what will be there.  Their maternity section is pretty big, but you have to have the patience to sort through it all.

  • Miller, Old Navy is having a big baby sale right now.  They have a lot of stuff really marked down online.  Pretty much all the stores in the mall have winter stuff drastically marked down and the spring stuff is starting to go on sale.

  • It's on KY 237 in Hebron, KY. I work across the street from the clearance center.

Honestly, you need to go when you have time to waste and can sort through items. You need to check every seam to look for holes, make sure zippers work, buttons are all there, etc.

Many items have stains, rips, tears, etc.

Having said that you can also SCORE tons of good items there. You just need to be patient. I have gotten many pairs of Banana Republic pants there that are in tip top shape. I typically shy away from tops as I don't have much luck. I do have luck in their shoe section. Babies are hit and miss. They do have 99 cent onesie sales from time to time. Baby socks are super cheap at only 25 cents a pair.

  • I agree with ppl.

I found it to be a total waste of a trip there. The stuff was pretty.... gross, for lack of a better word. I could see if they were all marked down to $1, but to pay $4.99 for a onesie that looks like it's been worn before?? No thanks.

Also agree you can find much better deals at the regular Gap.
