I saw bits and pieces on Oprah and thought it was really interesting. I loved how the bosses featured on Oprah couldn't hang in most situations and often couldn't keep up physically with the demands. I also loved how they learned of ways to better things for their employees and really got to walk a day in their shoes. I love real people stories but I am one of those people who looks at others while stopped at stop signs or red lights and wonders what their story is...everyone has one.
I did. I thought it was really interesting. I like the idea of a CEO checking out what his/her front-line ees go through. I have some questions about how the show was made though. I wondered, how did he get to work with such good-tv people? I can't believe it was just luck of the draw that he just happened to work with the port-a-potty guy. He had to have been hand-picked. That guy was just plain awesome.

I can't wait till next week's Hooters episode.
I said the same thing to Dan, it couldn't have been random that they got all people with great stories and who were all such good TV candidates. I'm sure they were hand picked.
I LOVED the porta potty guy, he was awesome. And the guy who fired the COO was pretty funny too.
I saw it! I thought it was OK. I would like to know how they picked the employees. The COO seemed really nice also, maybe a little too nice, like he was going for some good PR.

We watched it too. Definitely interesting. Next week's looks crazy! My DH (and myself) were appalled by what the manager was making those Hooter's girls do! ("If you want to leave early, you have to participate in my reindeer games...")!!! Ugh.
It was like that very short lived show, Undercover Millionare or something. Can't remember the name.
I liked it - I liked how he specifically saw how his pushing productivity impacted people...and the spying on them? What a waste of $$! The show has potential if it's done right.

We did. I thought it was a great idea. And he was a great guy....always nice to see that in upper management. Especially that high up.
I'm sure there have been a few shows that are similar. I agree it seemed familiar.
As a ex-Hooters employee, I am very eager to see next week. The previews show some crazy things going on.
