I have the bebe pod and wished I had the bumbo. She fit in the bumbo so much better than the pod. I hate the strap in the pod. It gets in the way and just cuts into her tummy when I'd use it. I got the pod because I read that the bumbo was too small for their babies big legs and also because it has a toy attached to the tray. Well...my baby still fits in the bumbo and there ain't no baby legs chunkier than my LOs and she pulls the toy right out of the tray so I was always nervous she'd smack her face. All in all to me the point of these chairs is to be able to have them sit before they can on their own. If they don't fit snug in it, it doesn't help. Now that my LO fits snug in the pod, she can sit on her own so it defeats the purpose.

I have a bebe pod but there isn't a strap...maybe cuz mine is older? That said, my son didn't like either the bebe pod OR the bumbo (we borrowed a bumbo for a while). Some people love them but for us it was a waste of money.
Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.

Ditto. Both my boys figured out how to wiggle their way out almost immediately. One of our least used baby purchases.
My kids both liked the Bumbo, but not for TOO long. If you can buy it used- this is DEFINITELY one of the things I would've gotten used. So easy to clean, not easy to destroy....
