So jessloveschase08's post about her experience over on theknot.com brought out some crazy stories that people have heard over the years about theknot/nest/bump. What are some of the crazy knot/nest/bump folklore that you have heard about the message boards?
Mine are... that wedding cancellation story apparently really happened in Rochester, NY back in 2006. Some crazy called all her vendors and cancelled her wedding. Yikes. Oh and I remember a knottie that got into a fight with a group of girls and those girls found out where she worked, called her boss and told them she was always on the internet. Even sent them the messages she had posted about how she was frustrated at her bosses over some work situation. She got fired from her job! That sucked but it taught me to be really REALLY careful what I say on these boards.

the BSC on the multiples board who stole pictures from the ladies and claimed they were her own.
or Wildhorsefeathers pretending to be pregnant on 0-3 then claiming it was twins and then we discovered that she stole a google u/s pic of the "twins" and it was all made up..
scary!

oh my gosh, I totally remember both of those! Crazy!
I can't remember too much from the knot or nest.. mainly flamable posts from the bump, like the girl who ate a "fingernail amount" of feta cheese and threw it up because she was afraid it would harm her baby.. I think that was on first tri when I was there w/ DD1... there was also a girl who drank too-hot soup and burned herself and was worried she had burned the baby..
BFP 5/07 - Kylie born 2/08. BPF 2/09 - Alexandra born 10/09.
TTC since 8/13 - diagnosed difficulty conceiving due to LP defect. Took vitamin B and Vitex Berry to help lengthen.
BFP 2/14 - Missed M/C found at 8.5 weeks. D&C at 9w2d. Partial Molar Pregnancy.

I have experienced Cat Piss, FNF, & Irish Twins Day. To name a few.

FNFI remember hearing about one, maybe on the Nest (?) where someone started emailing another Nestie's DH, I can't remember what about though.
And wasn't there a Nest related divorce? She was spending too much time on the Nest so they got divorced is what I remember.

Does anyone remember the one from the Knot about the girls MIL who photocopied the invitations and sent them out to all sorts of friends and relatives who weren't actually invited?
& I was there for the massive dramz of D&R when an AE/stalker put all of Katie's info in a blog, including her address, phone number, where she worked, her morning commute route, etc.

Oh yes... Irish Twin Day, I totally forgot about that. That was classic! She is still around too!
Oh there has been a number of bumpie on bumpie stalkings. One happened on our local board. I guess a really popular bumpie posted some pictures of her house remodel and someone found her house from the picture she posted of the frontyard and started stalking her. People have alot of time on their hands. I have to work, take care of my baby and post on this board all day, how do you find time to stalk too!?!? hahahah!
What the? I know some people are crazy on here but the stalking is nuts!!
oh yes, I remember that too. That was scary! She had an awesome decor blog too didn't she? That she deleted? And then she started only very occasionally posting.. such a loss to the D&R board!

YES. & she was building the house, but the plans fell through & they bought that one & I have always wished she would come back & post pictures.
btw, she did come back
She's on her local board & has nursery pictures up, but that's it.
I remember wildhorsefeathers saying she was pregnant with Twins but I must have missed the day it was discovered to be fake. I wondered what had happened to her. How was it discovered?
I didn't post much on D&R, but I do remember that!
cat piss lady is by far one of the best ever.

Babies for Bunnies: for Bunniesaresoft, an old school nestie on BOTB who had infertility struggles.
Irish Twin Day: AKLovesJI (or something similar) - she asked when we were on 1st Tri what birth control we were using while pregnant. You know, so we wouldn't get re-pregnant. She claimed that "Irish Twins" were a result of getting pregnant while you're already pregnant.
I seriously just LOL'ed .... OMG.... there aren't words.... bummed i missed that one!
oh, snap...i totally forgot about that!! i only started posting on the boards once i got ktfu, so that was my first experience with the drama on here.
