I'm currently sitting in the waiting room to get my blood work drawn for my glucose test. The drink really wasn't that bad, but right now I am starting to feel quite sick. Its a hard sickness to explain, but if I move too fast I feel like I could pass out. The people behind the desk say its normal, but I've never heard of anyone feeling like this before!
Did anyone else feel sick after drinking the glucose drink?

Did you all follow the food restrictions? Mine is in a couple weeks and they gave me a list of all the things I cant eat which is basically the only stuff I do eat I'm a very picky eater. I'm scared I'm gonna fail
Anyways OP I hope the time passes quickly and you pass the test and feel better soon!!

Success is getting up just one more time than you fall down.
BTW: Fruits are carbs. Good carbs mind you, but they are still high in sugar. Potatoes and starchy veggies like peas are also carbs. You would be better off with a protein like string cheese and some nuts or some kind of meat or eggs.
I felt a little queesy and had a slight headache as well for my one hour. Then after about 2 hours I felt fine. Then I got SUPER hungry. I ate almost everthing I could get my hands on at home. I ended up passing my test too. Could be a good sign..???
Good luck!
