IUI # 2/ sperm count

hey girls, just back from iui 2 and i am saddened. DH SA was all normal but last IUI was 3mill inseminated and todays was 1.5 inseminated. why the decrease? we got a referral for him to go see a uroligist. if anyone has any experience with this, or has an idea of the type of testing the uroligist would do, id appreciate it. thanks so much.

    The urologist will probably order a semen analysis, do some blood work and perform a physical exam on your DH. good luck!

    Yes, unfortunately sperm counts can fluctuate a lot. :( It's really frustrating....but the good news is it just may be higher next time?! Good luck at the uro - that is a great next step.

    This. It is very frustrating when the counts fluctuate but I'm there with you. My siggy shows how my DHs have fluctuated with our IUIs also. GL!
