How to get blood off of stuffed animals?

My DDs sometime have chapped lips that bleed and I just found that Violet has some blood on her belly.  What's the best way to get it off? 
2004-Started TTC; Nov 2007-Lap with endo removed; Jan 2008-Ectopic (mtx); April 2008-IVF #1 (bfp, twin girls); March 2011-FET (cp); June 2012-IVF #2 (bfp, singleton, EDD 3-19-12)

    Peroxide gets blood out then just wash it in a laundry bag.

    this. works like magic. DH gets frequent nosebleeds and we use it a lot. otherwise, we'd throw out half his shirts, pillowcases & towels.

    No worries, it will come right out. Just pour it directly on there and rub the blood off.

    Since we are on the topic of stains....hairspray is good for getting ink stains out, just a PSA :)

    I love the people that want to throw something out with a stain on it. How wasteful. Come on now. It's not like violet took a blood bath ala Carrie. She can clean it.
